Howard Neal & David Barnett join me for this year's Bike to Work, Redwood Road to City Hall.

Bike to Work Day : Building A Smarter, Sustainable City

Several hundred Oaklanders including a quorum of the City Council took part in our 10th Bike to Work Day, May 2003.  

7:30 am -  District 4 Leaders start out at Redwood Hts Rec Center at Hwy 13.  Stan Weisner, Kids First Board member, and Montclair attorney Howard Neal join Councilwoman Quan.

Bike Tours of Historic Oakland
A leisurely paced 5-mile bike tour led by the museum’s bike-tripping docents, focusing on Oakland’s history and architecture. Meet at 10th Street entrance at 10 a.m. Reservations: 510/238-3514.
